The stainless steel handles are solidly welded on. The 'heart' of the heat conducting bottoms is made of thick aluminum which spreads the heat evenly across the bottom. The stock pot is used most commonly for simmering. It is ideal for making soup, as the equal lengths of its diameter and height limit evaporation. It is induction ready.
